People Like Us, Live is an interactive patient education program that invites the participation of people with kidney disease, their families and the health care professionals involved in their care.
The Program's Objectives…

- To provide education to individuals who are already receiving treatment who may be interested in changing their treatment or increasing their knowledge.
- To reduce anxiety, fear, misinformation and stress.
- To give ample opportunity for questions and discussion while providing an "informal" support group.
- To work toward facilitating activities related to daily living.
- To provide an educational experience and support system that will help individuals adapt to life with kidney disease.
